You’re wrong. Have some actual studies and not pro-life propaganda:
- Review of Fetal Pain - the systems to feel pain aren’t in place until the 3rd trimester.
- A summary of the above study, so it’s easier to understand.
- The ability to differentiate touch from pain doesn’t develop until 35ish weeks.
- Even if fetuses had the physical system to feel, they are drenched in chemicals that keep them anesthetized and unconscious.
- Since fetuses are unconscious, they cannot feasibly register negative stimuli, too. Here’s another study about how consciousness is important to feel pain.
- Also, here’s an article that discusses sentience, personhood, and stem cell research.
